Well, I put the speakers in for repair on friday, but since then I learned that they have a 5 year warranty on parts and labor, so even though I have used them for three years, they're still covered... PMC ROCKS!

Now I'm stumped. I am missing the bass. The bass speakers are just not moving at all. I switched out mixers. I switched out amplifiers, I switched out computers and audio interfaces. I took apart the speaker crossovers. everything looks good. It is some strange voodoo... maybe next I need to call an exorcist.... the bass speakers are not moving at all. all tweeter.

my daughter was playing with my dj mixer in the studio and it broke, but it is a great opportunity to start running the studer as the central device, just in time for summer vacation and 4 weeks alone in the studio... the first time I've had alone with it since I finished the installation. So I'm really excited about the possibilities for recording and am going to make a big push to get going in commercial soundtrack work, starting by meeting with some creators working around town... but also to make some initial steps on original projects.

Yep, I arrived on October 5, 1995 in Japan for the first time,
with a suitcase full of books and a Fender Stratocaster.
Now with a japanese business and more guitars than I can easily count,
Back in Tokyo, I feel the time has come to turn a corner and to start again.
